EOC week 8: Bratz vs Mattel
On Thurs, Mattel Inc., the house that Barbie built, heads back to court
to once again try to prove that MGA Entertainment Inc. stole the toy
company's intellectual property when it created the popular Bratz doll
line a decade ago.
WEEK 8 BOC: Progress on Final Project
I have made considerable progress on my Final Project for this class. I have multiple family friends and relatives that are Lawyers, so I felt extremely lucky right as I was informed of this project! I have come up with my questions for my Lawyer related to my major and future business in the fashion industry. I have also glanced at the requirements for the project and have set up a time to meet with my lawyer outside of school. I still need to come up with my quotes and take the final steps in finishing my final project !

WEEK 6: ILLICIT
In watching the documentary that National Geographic did on Illicit Drug trade and the black market, I became aware of how bad and dark of an issue this is. I understand how the distribution of illegal and designer bags are the tip of the iceberg for the black market and how they are used to transport even darker and more dangerous substances across the border to the United States. One thing about today's lecture that really stood out what the alteration of pharmaceuticals and how they are producing fakes of this medicine. The morality of what is going on is essentially disturbing and makes me fearful. I know that this is an issue that will not be stopped, and the only thing we can do to protect ourselves and our country is to eliminate the need for this substance and and illegal activity.
