As a student studying the art and business side of fashion, it is very important to stay knowledgable of the latest trends on the runway and the colors being displayed. I am absolutely in love with one color/trend that is very prevalent right now; it also happens to be the 2013 Pantone Color of the year... Emerald. This magnificent shade of green is all over the runway and in the stores. We can predict that a number of designers will soon be previewing their Spring 2013 collections highlighting this color called Emerald. A major reason why this shade has gained such popularity is because of its ability to look great when worn on virtually any skin tone, and on male or female.
